Fall Flakies!

20161104_143642-copyI used Wet-n-Wilds 2% Milk (about 3 coats, jeeze). After I had that down I used a makeup sponge and dotted polish onto the makeup sponge randomly using Sinful Color’s Ruby Ruby and Sally Hansen’s Plum Luck.

I then used a bit of 2% across the top of all the dots to give it a slight gradient effect and blended the colors in with the sponge like you would any gradient. Then I took Color-Club Snowflakes and sponged it on the tips going up the gradient leaving the top half more bare.

I really love this!! The flakies are the perfect light pink over this rose plum that was created by blending Ruby Ruby and Plum Luck. In the sun they were soo shifty and it’s very hard to capture but it went green at different angles.

Butterflies

I am so stinkin proud of these!! I spent so much time on the butterflies but it was worth it. I couldn’t do the other hand, I tried and tried and they just looked terrible. I’m sorry!

It was also kind of rainy but I took pictures anyway because it didn’t let up at all. Yay! Florida fall! 😐

The only polish is the gradient (Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow, Sinful colors Sugar Rush and Endless Blue) the butterflies are entirely acrylic paint. This is something completely original, usually I have some kind of inspiration but I was just really feeling butterflies that day. I hope you like them as much as I did. I left them on FOREVER! I was surprised they lasted that long (almost two weeks!) but i switched to Orly Bonder for my base coat and it’s a miracle worker!!

Silver Linings

This was my inspiration: http://imgur.com/a/q8bXA#Cab0avQ

20150406_194515I used pure ice home run, sinful colors sweet tooth, and maybelline color show chiffon chic for the gradient. I topped that with China Glaze fairy dust. Then I used Color Clubs Harp on it for the holographic silver lining and a combination of acrylic white paint and sinful colors Snow Me White for the stars and clouds.
